 leadership failures

The institutional and leadership failures, characterised by institutions not focused on performance, a hyper-centralised and paralysed state architecture, a parasitic and greedy bureaucracy, corruption and impunity are at the heart of the explanation of this lacklustre performance.

CONSEQUENCES: A CRISIS OF LIVING TOGETHER, A DIVIDED, DISLOCATED AND DISMANTLED SOCIETY

This hyper-centralized state has produced multifaceted social and political crises as we observe today through different forms of manifestations. A societal crisis of living together has produced a divided, dislocated and dismantled society. A system that has produced bad fortune for its citizens instead of good fortune. Its citizens have been zombified and vassalized, thus losing confidence in themselves, their institutions and their leaders. Young Cameroonians are extremely affected by this deplorable situation.
